This is one of the best Indonesian green coffees we have ever roasted! We have our “regular” Indonesian from Sumatra and processed with the Indonesian characteristic giling basah method. It’s a fantastic semi-washed green coffee and we’ve been working with it since the roastery started. But we also like variety, and this is something different.
From Jampit Estate comes a fully washed green coffee. Jampit is one of four coffee estates on the island of Java. The estate is well positioned at high altitude. The soil is very nutritious, created by an active volcano.
We can roast this both for filter and espresso. Expressively spicy, with cocoa and stone fruits. Like a dark rum, with smoky and sweet nuances. Highly recommended while stocks last!
This green coffee arrived at the roastery on March 21 and is from the 2023 harvest.
