The Arabic word qahwah roughly means ‘a drink made from berries’ and this is where the name of the region of Kaffa in south-western Ethiopia originates. According to legend, it was right here that coffee berries were discovered and cultivated for the first time in history, for the purpose of brewing the drink we cannot live without today.
The Tega & Tula coffee farm has consistently delivered premium beans since their first harvest in 2000. This coffee is lightly roasted to be filter brewed. It offers the typical Ethiopian black tea with lemon, both in aroma and taste. The coffee is sweet and goes with forest honey. Throughout the flavor experience, there is vanilla and a faint florality in the background.
This green coffee is from the 21-22 harvest. That’s why we sell it cheaper here on the website.
