Since the very first harvest in 1808, Colombia has refined its coffee quality. Today, few places in the world are so strongly associated with high-quality specialty coffee. Most of the coffee comes from the ‘Triángulo del Café’ (Coffee Triangle), which encircles an area between Cali and Bogotá. Here, Tolima is one of the leading regions.
Tolima provides an origin-specific cup. At high altitude, 1400-2000 meters above sea level, the coffee bushes grow from which we get our specialty coffee. It is a difficult terrain on the slopes of the Tolima mountain. The volcanic soil provides extra nutrition for our coveted crop and the glacial waters from the Andes become a natural water source for this washed coffee.
The coffee is creamy sweet, with white flowers and a slight nuttiness. With herbs interacting with orange, the impressions are complete in this cup, which we prefer to filter brew – in a regular coffee maker or by hand in our V60 (or equivalent) or Chemex.
Always freshly toasted. The coffee is never older than 7 days when it leaves our roastery!
