Wine, cognac, whisky and other distillates are aged in barrels to develop greater flavors and aromas. Coffee, on the other hand, should be consumed as soon as possible after roasting for maximum enjoyment. Educating for this is one of our most important missions. Freshly roasted is simply the best!
However, inspired by the terminology of how alcohol can be barrel-aged, we have named these coffee beans. Or rather, to this plethora of coffee beans. Because there is total variety here.
Devil’s cut is what goes into the wood and gets stuck in the barrel itself when the alcohol has finished storing in it. The devil has gotten hold of the good stuff, it’s lost. But at White Elk, nothing goes to waste. Quite the opposite. Devils cut are the dark roasted beans we get left over when we’re done roasting for the week. Sinfully good.
Here we offer dark roasted sensations, different every time. The varieties are varied and we change a little now and then, at least once a month. The beans are roasted for both filter brewing and espresso, and are never found in our regular range. You can enjoy them with or without milk.
This is 1 kilo of dark roasted coffee beans at an unbeatable price.
