It’s easy to imagine that China would be a major producer of coffee, but this is certainly not the case. Coffee is a new thing in the Middle Kingdom and despite its population, it only accounts for a few percent of Brazil’s exports. Even for many roasters, China is a new acquaintance. It was the country for us too, but we have every reason to come back to this origin in the years to come.
China Yunnan is roasted with advantage to filter brew. You get a well-balanced and soft cup, in all its simplicity. Lighter nut aromas such as cashew, almond and walnut emerge. We particularly appreciate the creaminess, a bit like chocolate caramel. A little sweet red apple further enlivens the cup.
This green coffee is from the 21-22 harvest. That’s why we sell it cheaper here on the website.
