In the 18th century, people flocked to Mina Gerais during the gold rush. Today, coffee is the order of the day in the region, which enjoys a pleasant 22 degrees in the shade all year round and ideal conditions for growing the ‘black gold’.
The coffee from Fazenda Rio Brilhante has a lot of nuts in both taste and aroma. The charcoal that emerges is dark and we have a sweet, soft vanilla in the aftertaste. It is precisely the nuttiness and caramelized sweetness that makes the classic Brazilian flavor profile a hit in all camps.
The Urban family is behind the coffee. Father Inácio, with children Erika and Fernando in the lead. Since 2006, they have jointly managed the farm and year after year improved the quality and environment of the surrounding area. A bream with a good aftertaste in every way!
This coffee is just as good regardless of the brewing method. The aftertaste is soft, long and pleasant – both in a small espresso cup and in a large cup of brewed coffee.
