For many years, we have been buying coffee from the small farmers of Cajamarca in northern Peru. It is grown according to organic principles and toxins are strictly prohibited on the farms we buy from. We then take the beans to Europe to be decaffeinated using the most natural and completely organic method known to man. It goes by the name of CO2. It is also the process we have found to be the most gentle on the beans, and thus also the taste experience you get in your cup. The CO2 method guarantees us that 95% of the caffeine is gently removed. After decaffeination, the coffee is 99.9% decaffeinated.
The taste is smooth and creamy with sweet notes of honey, caramel, milk chocolate and a final light nutty note. If you want to enjoy a coffee for the sake of taste – go ahead, this is the coffee for you.
