Chiapas is located on the border with Guatemala and here – according to us at White Elk and Kafferosteriet Koppar – the country’s very best coffee is grown. If you roast to make a good brewing coffee, this is the coffee for you. We appreciate the sweet flavor profile, with chocolate in the base. A lot of nuttiness emerges in the form of almonds and walnuts. In the background there is vanilla and dried fruit. In an espresso blend, Mexico is the perfect plasticizer. The origin neither enhances nor takes over the potentially stronger characteristics of other origins, but contributes – just as in filter brewing – to the pleasant and nuanced aftertaste.
Our promise to you who roast yourself is to always give you the very best conditions: A hand-picked green coffee from the freshest possible harvest.
Since we primarily roast our own coffee, but also sell it unroasted, we are very keen to ensure that all our green coffee is from the freshest possible harvest. Because just as coffee should always be freshly roasted when you drink it, the freshness of the green coffee also has a huge impact on the end result.
